Roberto J. Diaz, M.D.
Double Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He graduated Medical School from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2005. He completed a General Surgery Internship at The Methodist Hospital at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas in 2006. He also completed a two year Orthopedic Surgery Research Fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. During those two years, he trained along the side of Orthopedic Surgery Residents and shared trauma call. He then graduated from the Anesthesiology residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, Texas in 2011. His Pain Medicine Fellowship was also completed at UTMB in 2012.
In San Antonio, Dr. Diaz practices comprehensive Pain Medicine and focuses on Intrathecal Baclofen Pump Therapy for patients who suffer from muscle spasticity. He is empathetic towards his patients and is passionate about improving their pain condition in order to restore function and quality of life.
